After seeing more and more announcements about what actors are down to make cameos in Power Rangers Super Megaforce, I can’t hop off the fence. Here’s one of the recently updated lists of who’s making an appearance (copied from Orends: Range):
See, that’s a pretty cool list of cameos. But, only ten cameos? Aren’t there 18 seasons of Power Rangers? Either way, I know 10 is NOT all of the series being represented. Saban is fucking this shit up, man. No SPD, Ninja Storm, or Dino Thunder cameos? I get it, they’re Disney ‘generation’, but shit… it’s all fucking Power Rangers. Like I said, I’m still on the fence about this ‘season’ of Power Rangers. I really want to be excited and hyped because people like Jason Faunt and Dan Southworth are apparently scheduled for cameos, which is awesome. But, will these ten cameos be enough?
I guess in a perfect world, for me as a Power Rangers fan, I would love to see the teams all come back together. In Gokaiger I get it, 35 years of Sentai, that’s a lot of fucking people, but in Power Rangers the community is so much smaller that I think if Saban went about it the right way it could happen. I don’t know, man…
At least I have Kyoryuger…

Brave 13 - ‘San-Snip! Protect their Hearts!’
Man-o-man! I won’t lie to you people, I absolutely love whenever Kamen Rider or Super Sentai has their romance episode(s). Something about the way the staff writes them is just super appealing to me, haha. Probably because they’re just so damn fun! And this episode is no different, man.
I’ve stated it so many times before that I’m starting to think I don’t need to anymore, but this episode moves pretty quickly. We’re given the main plot of the episode within the first two minutes, and parallel action of the episode’s Deboss monster within the first five or so. Which I usually don’t agree with, because the writing ends up being sloppy, but it isn’t in Kyoryuger. So, I don’t mind, haha. I really really like this episode. Just so much damn fun! We see some sweet bonding between Utchy and Souji, then we get bonding between them two and Ian! Oh, man… so much bro-time it’s insane. Plus, we get a new zord-combination?!!!
Okay, I don’t really care too much about the new zord-combination… but, I do like the bonding part of this episode. That is definitely what stands out the most to me as a viewer. I get it, it is definitely supposed to be focusing on how Souji has progressed, but, I ended up caring more about the team’s evolving versus Souji’s love life.
I really enjoy this week’s Deboss monster and theme. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an enemy like this… Plus, the design for the actual monster is pretty sick and cool looking.
Overall, this episode is really freaking fun. Just like the previous 12, haha. Barely any Amy action, though… I guess the writers figured she had her moment recently. Now, I’m waiting for Ian and King to get their next chance to shine!

So, I usually review or give my final thoughts on a series after I finish watching it… but, with Samurai Sentai Shikenger I just feel bummed out. The ending is too sad, man. They all just say some words and fade away and shit. That’s sign of a good-ass-show, right there! Getting me all attached to the characters and their well-being… Gosh… Well, I’ll give my final thoughts on Shikenger tomorrow! Just wanted to say that, haha.
